The Social Action Committee requests nominations of individual BETC members, adult and youth (up to grade 12), for the 2025 Jonathan Jacoby Tikkun Olam (JJTO) Awards. These awards recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the work of “repairing the world” by addressing critical socio-economic issues. The honorees follow in the footsteps of former BETC member, Jonathan Jacoby, who has inspired many of us to help create a world we want for ourselves and our children. Past JJTO award winners have contributed in a wide range of important areas, among them: economic justice, civil rights, climate justice, reducing gun violence, hunger, homelessness, education, poverty, and immigration.
