What's Happening

Musical Performance of the Children's Opera "Brundibar"
Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 4 pm

Students from the Boston Consdervatory at Berklee will perform Brundibar, an opera originally performed by the children in the Terezin (Czechoslovakia) Nazi concentration camp. In this allegorical tale of good triumphng over evil, a brother and sister work together to raise money to aid their ill mother, while thwarting their nemesis, the evil organ-grinder Brundibar.

Suggested donation $18/person, $36/family. Funds raised will benefit the BETC Mesirov Music Fund and the Social Action Fund.


Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
November 18, 2017 at 6 pm
We hope to see you at this fun annual event! The evening will start with a Havdalah service at BETC, followed by dinner at your host's home. You will find out the name of your host immediately after the Havdalah service. You will be provided with directions to your host's home where you will enjoy a delicious dinner with 6 to 8 other congregants.
